What Our Customers Have To Say:

Horse eating from Hay Pillow slow feed hay bag on the ground
Hello Hay Pillow! I literally cannot think of a better advertisement for you! After a few months of using hay pillow, I offered my girls each a Standard Hay Pillow and loose hay. This mare decided that the hay pillow is where it's at!!! I love them too! They take what was an hour and a half feeding and stretch it out over about 5 hours keeping my horses entertained and happy. Thanks for making a great product! ~Alyssa~

horse eating hay from a manger hay pillow feeder in horse trailer
Had to share a photo of my mare, Foxy, once again enjoying her Manger Hay Pillow.  We used to have hay nets in the trailer but once I found Hay Pillows and bought one for the manger, I won't be using a hay net in there again.   Foxy can eat her hay as we travel down the road and she really likes it.
~Pat~

Mini horse eating hay from slow feed hay bag
I love the Mini Hay Pillow because it easily allows me to provide hay to my mini in his evening pasture.  The Hay Pillow is so much easier and cleaner than a regular hay net.  No fumbling with strings, no acrobatics to wrangle a flake in the net, no looking for a safe place to hang. Just unzip, load, zip and place anywhere!  ~Darbie~

hanging hay pillow slow feed hay bag full of h hay
I love the Hanging Hay Pillow and so does my horse. It is so much easier to fill than other hay nets because flakes of hay slide right in. It holds a huge amount of hay and there is so little waste with the canvas back and tight close.  I use mine at home hung on the fence and in the stall. We travel often to clinics and it's great to use inside my slant load horse trailer and outside the horse trailer while Red is tied trailerside. I will never buy the old style hay net again! ~Stacey~

I think my mini should win as she is the most amazing rescue horse ever. She was neglected, left on a hill to be a mini mill for the sale of her babies, with hooves so over grown that they looked like horns. When rescued she was still the best disposition horse ever. The rescue had her accompany other horses to vet to help them stay calm. Now with Animal Assisted Life she helps children struggling with speech therapy be motivated and happy while excelling in their sessions. She's the best and deserves the best, which would be a standard pillow with a tiny mesh for her health and an id tag, cause mini's God bless them are escape artists and she deserve to be safe and sound. Thank you for all you do.

I would love to win the standard 1 3/4" mesh pillow and the Ultralight I.D. tag. My mustang is an easy keeper so I really need a good way to slow down her eating. Although she is branded, most people do not know how to read the brand. The I.D. tag will help her get back home.

I'm leaning towards the standard hay pillow with the standard net size.
The bottom of the pillow will keep the smaller particles from the ground.
Wow, I went back and forth with the ID tags. Both great. Guess I'll choose the yellow maneclip style.
Important invention that I would have overlooked.

The emergency clip looks like an awesome way to let anyone know of medical issues in an emergency. Thank you.

I have a pony with choking issue. I would love to have the hanging pillow with 1 3/4 opening for him. Also would love to have the ManeStay for all the fires in California, I never know when I have to move my three horses. Thanks so much for sponsoring this for us to have a chance to win. One of my friends at my barn has the small haypillow for her mini and he loves it. My little man is 32 and a rescue from a kill pen. I have had him 6 years and he has been in the hospital twice with choke for 10 days each. I know this would help so much.

I would love to win a mini Hay Pillow with 1” mesh and a Mane Stay ID tag for my Shetland pony Patchie. I brought her home to retire after she spent five years at a therapeutic riding program where I volunteer. It was time for her to retire due to dental issues and cataracts. She is living out her final years at my ranch and would be happier if she could make her hay last longer. When she tried out the mini hay pillow that I use for my miniature horses, I noticed that she doesn’t quid like she does when eating from the slow feed net she currently has. The result is less waste and better nutrition.

I would love to win the hanging hay bag. Be neat to try this one. I am always buying different kinds so I have plenty for backup. And the light tag, I would prefer to try. Doesn't look so bulky. But both kool ideas. And I am always willing to try new things and it's fun to win.and if I would win, and I like, I will definitely 👍 order more. Thanks,

I would love a Standard Hay Pillow with 1 3/4” netting and the UltraLite ID tag.
My horse would greatly benefit from a Hay Pillow as he has kissing spine and it is highly recommended that he eats in a natural position (food on the ground).
Unfortunately he also eats all his food very quickly and I’d love to be able to slow him down, as well as prevent hay wastage!
I have been following this page for a long time someday hoping to have my own Hay Pillow that I can use for my boy, as it is a brilliant way to get both the benefits of ground feeding and slow feeding nets!

I would love a hanging hay pillow with a 1" net for my Hanoverian mare Blanche. She gets bored and dumps all her hay out every feeding. We have seen her waving around clumps of hay tossing her head and then after it is all scattered about and walked in or ruined she complains when she's hungry. I had a hay pillow that was 'lost' aka stolen at the last farm I boarded at and the hanging one seems much handier than a traditional hay net. I hope she wins it will make us both much saner!

My Outlaw is a double rescued horse. My mustang was born in New Mexico. He was recued from BLM. When the family surrendered him to Blazes Equine Rescue; he became part of the Trainers Challenge 2019. I adopted Outlaw. He could use a hay pillow in the trailer on his way to sort or go to a trailer ride. He is learning obstacles. The haning hay pillow looks durable and would allow him to get hay without as much waste.

I like the Standard Hay Pillow® Slow Feeder Hay Bag 3/4” and the UltraLite tag. My horse and I should be winners because horses are expensive and I am a broke veterinary student with one horse that loves to be spoiled!! ;) (Also, the hay net she has now is a hanging net that seems to make her neck sore. So we would definitely use both!)

I would love to win the standard haypillow with the 1 3/4” mesh and I would pick the Manestay ID tag. We own 3 donkeys and a large pony. We have one hay pillow and many other types of hay nets. The hay pillow is by far the most preferred by all of them, including me. They are all easy keepers and without the hay pillow they devour their hay so fast! The hay pillow is the only option I have found that allows for slow feeding from the ground, which is so important!! I would LOVE to have another hay pillow, so they don’t have to share or so my pony will stop pushing the donkeys away from it🙂

Your Emergency ID Tag choice - Manestay

I would love to win this prize pack for my draft cross. I have always owned thoroughbreds and have had picky eaters. My new draft cross could really use this to help slow him down and give him more to do throughout the day instead of eating everything in an hour then watching my thoroughbred in the next paddock munching all day. He would really live this. The emergency tag would be amazing for the area I live in. We are high desert with extreme fire danger every summer and I would feel so much safer having something like this for my geldings.

My donkey Conner needs a hay pillow. He is a companion to my blind horse so he can't be separated from her. He is getting too chubby since he is much smaller than her and a hay pillow would help him to stay slim but keep himself busy and full.

The ideal would be for me to win a Standard Hay Pillow with 1 3/4th" mesh. We have an 18 year old blind mare and a 2 year old donkey. The donkey would benefit from the slow feeder so he doesn't become overweight. It would also be so very important for our blind girl to have the Ultralite ID tag in case she was ever separated from her donkey buddy. Thanks!

I would choose a hanging hay pillow with 3/4" mesh and an ultralight emergency mane tag (in turquoise)

As the owner of a Haflinger, making sure they have the opportunity to eat their hay over a long period of time is very important, and my gelding has absolutely thrived with his standard hay pillow, and his meals have lasted him for a very long time each day.

Unfortunately, he can't really use it in the winter as he's on a dry lot and when it rains, the dry lot turns to mud in most places, and i juuuuust know he'd kick it out from his shelter into the muddiest patch. With a hanging hay pillow, he could continue to enjoy all the benefits of longer munching time, being a content and happy horse.

Standard slow feeder hay pillow with 3/4in mesh and manestay ice tag.

I just started 24/7 forage in hay nets and the improvements my two horses have had in almost two weeks time is absolutely incredible to me with their oral health but also with the balance of their whole body and leg stability I am new to working with paddock paradise and finally feel that I have found the answers in horse care that I have been searching for for years and to win this would further Aid me giving my two horses the best life for them that I can provide for the tag we have fire Seasons generally every summer here in Montana and this would bring me Comfort to know that they would be id'd in case we did need to evacuate.

We currently have the standard hay pillow 1 3/4 inch and recently started using it more for daily use in her pasture. She has a hanging hay net in her shelter but I’ve realized she enjoys coming out to eat! So we would love another standard 1 3/4 inch pillow to give her more grazing options! We also do a lot of camping in the summer and my biggest fear is her getting loose. We’ve helped search for missing horses. It’s scary! So the Ultra Lite emergency tag would be awesome to win! I would LOVE a standard Hay Pillow with 1-3/4” holes for my Haflinger! We need to slow down her intake as she’s a typical Haffie and inhales her meager portions lol.

The ManeStay ID would be a great thing to have as well, especially in the summer when we have wildfires and need to evacuate within a moment’s notice. Being a Haflinger...and they’re all chestnut...this could really help with quick identification so she can get returned to me more quickly. The ManeStay could stay in her mane indefinitely and not snag on anything as well. One less thing to worry about!

Thank you!!

Admiral would love the standard Hay Pillow with 1 1/4" holes. As he doesn't like braids, he'd prefer the Mane Stay ID tag. His mare friend is quite bossy over the hay, no matter how many feeders or piles i made for them! But Mystique (his Sassy friend) dislikes hat bags/bets, so Admiral would have his own hat stash to hopefully eat alone! And with the canvas bottom, I could move it around, no matter if there's snow or dirt in the ground!

Happy new year!

This is so great that you’re offering this to your subscribers! I would love to win the Standard Hay Pillow® Slow Feeder Hay Bag in the 1 3/4 mesh size along with the ultra lite ice tag. I rescued my mare from a kill pen last year and have slowly been establishing trust with her and getting her healthy body mind and spirit. She is my very first horse that I’ve ever owned so she’s very special to me because I’m in my 30s and new to the horse world. I want to do right by her and give her a loving home and make sure she is healthy and in doing my research the hay pillow will help her so much and is the best on the market. Since I have had to buy so much new tack and supplies for her I don’t have the money to buy the hay pillow yet and would absolutely love to win one! She is the one who deserves it all :) After just being thrown away at a kill pen I want to make sure she always feel loved and taken care of

I would love to win the standard hay pillow with the 1 3/4” mesh size and the ManeStay ID tag!

My horse is a bit on the chunky side and loves to eat so I believe that having a hay pillow will help her tremendously to slow her intake down. It’ll also give my goat more of a head start at feeding time since she has a bigger mouth and can eat larger mouthfuls of hay than he can. So it’s a win-win for both of them!

This past summer we experienced a scary wildfire situation and had to evacuate all our animals. With the ManeStay ID tag it would have made it a lot easier and I wouldn’t have to worry about my horse not being able to be found if she got out somehow. Or if it was too late to evacuate and I had to let her loose she would have that tag to identify her and my goat always follows her so they’d be together.
Thankfully the fire didn’t damage our property and we did have time to evacuate and had a place to put them far away from the fire.

Thank you for hosting this giveaway and good luck to all!

I would like to win the mini pillow for our new mini horse who inhales his food in no time and would like to try the pillow in the smallest hole size as he has worked his way through 1 inch holes in no time. Hanging Hay Pillow - Small Mesh Hay Net Alternative 1 3/4" and ManeStay Id Tag

I would really enjoy winning this as my mare Sky loves the eat super quick at night in her stall, her current hay bag doesn’t work the best so I’m hoping these will work well for her to make it more of a natural grazing. As for the Id tag I am a younger rider who rides alone most of the time, I ride antsy and young horse on roads and fields so I am afraid one day I may fall off and if they get free I would hope someone would find them and call my mother or I so we know they are safe. This is why I wanted to win to help my mare and any possible injuries. Thanks!

They’re a herd so separating them is out of the question. A hay pillow will help them get enough food, but over a longer period of time. Finances are always a struggle for equestrians. I know we all want the very best for our horses, but can’t always afford the best of the best. So I’m thankful you offer giveaways. The ID tag would bring me a lot of comfort in the hot summer months where we have lots of wildfires. Two years ago we had to evacuate the minis. I worry what would’ve happened if we hadn’t had time to get them out safely. It would give me extra peace of mind to know someone could know my contact info should the minis end up where they don’t belong. Thank you!

I would love to win the standard hay pillow with 3/4” netting, and the Mane Stay ID tag.
I have two haflinger geldings who absolutely love their hay - so much so that they go through it very quickly and are prone to getting chunky! I would love to put a hay pillow in their shelter for those cold Canadian nights so they can stay out of the snow while still having some hay to eat!

Standard pillow with 1.75" mesh
Ultra lite ID tag

I have officially had my horse for one year. He is my first horse and he bring so much happiness to myself and others at our barn. We ha e accomplished many first this year including camping. I however do not have a hay bag for him. I was loaned one but feel that in order to continue with horse camping hay bag is a necessity. I love the idea if an ID tag.

Thanks for taking the time to read this.

Hi! Thanks for this opportunity!
The horses would like to try the Hanging Hay Pillow with the 1 3/4 inch mesh size. The size is perfect and will work well in many different locations - at the barn and while camping of just going off site. Heaven knows , Rupert always appreciates a good snack!
The Ultralite Emergency Info Clip on tag would be great to use while we are out camping. And it would attach easily to his big ol’ braids!

We would also love to try an Ultralite ID. I feel as though they would be great for shows and traveling!

I looked at all your lovely hay pillows and decided that the hanging hay pillow bag (1-1/4”) would be just the ticket to get me out of hot water! I would invite you to visit my 5yr old OTTB’s stall some day to see how he likes to throw his hay all over the stall and proceed to pee and poop on it. It’s making the barn owner and manager lose their minds at the waste! 🤣. And I would like the ultra lite because considering the number of times we’ve already parted ways during our rides.... thank you! 🤟🐴

My horse loves the hay pillow! I love the different mesh sizes as it allows my horse to keep his hay neat/ make less waste without slowing him down too much he loses weight. Also love it being a ground feeder as it’s a much more natural eating position than a hanging hay net.

Mane Stay

I would like 1” Hanging My Pillow because I have a messy horse with her hay and need a smaller net size.

I would like a mane stay because every once in a while a horse gets out of there stall at night and will run on the road they usually run right back to the barn but also if the was an emergency I want to be prepared if something were to happen

I would like the largest square opening. I have an elderly gelding that no matter what type of container I have tried using so he won't have to eat off the ground he still manages to toss and spread the hay all over then will walk all over to pee and poop. Hay is expensive but because he is elderly I need to make sure he gets enough to eat in order to keep his weight up. He does not seem to do well on cube's either even though having had his teeth floated let's him digest what he does eat it still does not keep him from throwing his hay up and all around. I have never had another horse do this and waste so much. I am thinking that this hay type feeder would at least keep the hay intact and still give him plenty of time to eat his fill with less waste Thank you for offering this opportunity to enter and be the winner of this contest

Would love a Standard Hay Pillow with 1 1/4" mesh, and the Mane Stay emergency tag. My horse is a rescue, and we have overcome many challenges to his now perfect health. A Hay Pillow would give him some pasture enrichment, and i can toss it in his stall (once its completed)during poor weather. The Mane Stay tag fits our needs, as his mane does not stay braided well, and emergencies are THANKFULLY, very rare.

Standard hay pillow 1 3/4" and ManeStay tag for me, please.
I've been looking for a concept similar to hay pillow for some time. My geriatric horses tend to make a mess with their hay and waste so much of it. I think if it were more organized, they would be able to munch on it much longer and would waste less. My oldest also has a nasty case of scratches, so anything to keep from walking through or standing in the hayhelps tremendously.

My 13yo OTTB gelding has been dealing with metabolic issues since the spring of 2018. It was not till the fall of 2020 that we could get back under saddle again. My husband worked so hard on this rusty old trailer and restored it to look almost brand new and it has a hay manger so this would be perfect to slow our girls down on eating all the hay. I also would love the Manestay I D tag for my girl in case she ever got away on a trail ride. My horse, Bailey, deserves both of these because she is truly a very special horse. I would love to have the hanging hay bag in 1 3/4 inch mesh and the manestay ID Tag. My horse has had a rough couple of years. He was diagnosed with EOTRH a few years ago and then had his incisors removed a year ago. We had to take out his slow feeder because of his lack of front teeth. In November he managed to puncture a hole into his sinus just under his eye. This has caused a crazy rabbit hole of medical issues, 3 surgeries, months of antibiotics. He’s finally doing well and starting to get back to normal life! While at the vet hospital they fed him in a hay bag! I was shocked that he preferred it so we’re not on the market for a slow feeder! My poor boy has been through so much I think he would enjoy a hay pillow slow feeder!

The standard hay pillow would be fantastic for my 13 year old Rocky Mountain mare, who has to be confined due to a suspensory ligament injury (that happened with her former owner). My mare is an easy keeper anyways, and is on a more restricted diet at this time. Having a hay net would help her even out her metabolism throughout the day, rather than having her gulp a small amount of feed only twice a day. The ID tags would be great for horse camping up on the Grand Mesa National Forest, which is only a half hour away from my place!

I would like the standard hay pillow with 1 inch mesh, and the ManeStay Equine Emergency ID Tag, if we are lucky enough to be drawn. My youngster loves her hay pillow she drags it around everywhere with her. it has taken a bit of a beating, so a second one would be very welcome

I would be thrilled for my donkey to win a Hay Pillow!!

I would choose:
a Mini Hay Pillow with 1 1/4" inch mesh
a Mane Stay emergency tag

Jessica is the kindest miniature donkey! She had a hard life with her previous owners, being used to produce youngsters for sale. Otherwise, she was ignored. She has a big heart and a big, personality, and loves her forever family. She is such a good girl and would be very happy with a slow feeding Hay Pillow.

I would love to win the:

Standard Hay Pillow with 1 1/4" mesh

My easy keeper mare and mini donkey currently eat hay from a slow feed hay net and would love to be able to move a standard hay pillow around the pasture to give them more movement. When I put flakes of hay on the ground to create more natural grazing a lot of the hay is wasted, so a hay pillow would be wonderful to keep the hay contained. Thank you.

I have a couple hay pillows for my mini already and he loves them! After finding the hay pillows, I won’t use anything else! Not only does it slow down my little guy’s eating, but he thinks it’s a fun toy too. I like that he can move it around his turn out and doesn’t have to stand in one place the whole time. I have a rescue mini coming home in a couple of weeks, so I’d love to win a hay pillow so they don’t have to share!

Mini Size Pillow
1 1/2 inch mesh
Mainstay Emergency Tag

When I went to see a friend of mine, I saw several 'things' in her corral that her horses seemed to be playing with. I asked her what they were and she explained that they were hay pillows and proceeded to tell me how much happier her horses were since she'd been using them.
I really liked the idea so I ordered 2 for my newly purchased miniature horses in the 'Mini Hay Pillow' size. I am really happy with my purchase as they are keeping my two minis occupied and instead of eating their breakfast and dinner within 20 minutes, it takes them about 2-3 hours! I love them! It keeps them busy and is a lot better on their little tummies! I would love to have more so they can roam around and and find them and quit picking on each other!
Thanks, Hay Pillow!

A member of a miniature horse Facebook group and lots of people highly recommend your hay pillows for our food obsessed little guys. I own two therapy miniature horses and they eat so fast even out of regular 1” hay bags. A hay pillow would slow them down as well as mimic grazing and help with boredom. My minis provide lots of joy to others so I’d love to give them something to give them enjoyment in return.

Mini Hay Pillow 0.75" Mesh
Ultralite

I adopted my mini, Skip To My Lulu, back in 2009 when I was 12 years old. She was completely wild and untouchable, and it took me three hours just to touch her the first day. Fast forward 12 years later, this little horse has become my heart and soul. She's won two National Championships, is a therapy horse, has performed in front of thousands, and was inducted into the USEF/Equus Foundation Hall of Fame. Most importantly, she's been by my side for every major life event and went with me to my undergrad and now moved across the country with me for my PhD. Lulu, having been starved before she was seized by the rescue, has always been a voracious eater and requires slow feeders to keep her from eating her entire meal in 10 minutes. Currently she eats out of hay nets, but I would love to have something so that she can have a constant supply of hay during her turnout with her head in a natural position. Additionally, Lulu and I have taken up hiking when I'm not working, so the Ultralite ID tag would be a wonderful addition. I often pony her off of larger horses on the trails, so if she were to get away, this could be a lifesaver.

I think my mares would greatly benefit from having a hay pilllow. They waste alot using round bales and hanging hay nets are not really suitable for their run-in since my older mare is alpha and will run off my other filly and hog all the hay to herself so if they both have a hay pillow on the ground they will both slow down. Thanks for the great giveaway, good luck everyone!

I have three miniature donkeys who came from neglect situations. Two came sick and needing immediate vet care. They had lice, were underweight, feet overgrown, and were scared of what was going to happened to them next. I'm spending lots of time offering them the best of care, love, and assurance that they are safe now. I've discovered The Hay Pillow in seeking the best care for them. It's what they need now to help maintain a healthy lifestyle. Thanks for offering a product that can help them achieve this.

4. My daughter rescued and trained three wild mustangs. They are used to foraging all day. Sadly, they have nibbled away most of the brush on our 5 acres. They could use a slow feed system. I already have one for my Fell Pony and I LOVE the way it slows down his eating sessions.

why should we win? I love the whole concept of the hay pillow and own 2 mini pillows. I love that they are American made and the construction is so durable. If I had the standard size I am hoping they would work as stall guards for my two spoiled miniature horses. I love the idea of the ManeStay Equine Emergency ID Tag as occasionally these two little ones like to "visit" the neighbors. Living in an area where we have had "visitors" such as jersey cows and Angus steer and no way of knowing who's they were for days, an ID tag could be very useful.

Standard Hay Pillow
1 3/4 in mesh
Manestay emergency tag
I have recently tried and I am sold on the hay pillows. We have wind, lots of wind and can be strong. We feed 24/7 grass hay for 2 mustangs and have tried several different hanging bags/nets. They are useless in the wind as my horses do not pull the hay out, they shake it very very enthusiastically. The hay blows away like dollar bills in the wind and they are left with very little on the ground to eat. They prefer to eat off the ground in a natural position which is another reason I love the hay pillows. It is so easy to place them anywhere and distances apart so they have to walk to the different pillows. My mustangs are my first horses I have owned and adopted them from BLM a year ago. I have been doing a lot of trial and error in the area of products. This product has been a positive one. I ID tag is a great idea I hadn't thought of and it will be good to use when the mustangs are ready to be taken out on their first walk off our property which may be soon.

I would like to win this as I have two mini bags already for my donkeys and they love to share them, or the horses are secretly stealing them, so I think they would love to have one two. It also would be helpful to have a spare as the donkeys like to play with theirs and often dunk it in water tank where they leave it until a human rescues it and pulls the soggy mess out and it has to dry.

Would LOVE to win the Standard Hay Pillow® Slow Feeder Hay Bag 1 1/4" (I just ordered two yesterday in the 1 3/4" because I couldn't wait! lol) and the Ultralite Emergency Info ID Clip-on Tag. I would love for my 24-year-old pony mare, JAG Lady Pegasus "Peggy", to snack on something much longer when she has to be in her stall or share it with her equally chunky son (JAG Khasanova "Khody") to have something to keep him busy, happy and full as well. Also, would love to have it as an option for pasture use when the grass isn't that great during the muddy winter months. They are the two best ponies and I want them to be happy and healthy and the hay pillow will help them so much! I want to integrate as many slow feeding options as possible. They both have worked and work so hard for me over the years and they deserve only the best. Also, the ID tag would be incredible for emergencies or even out trail riding or walking. I know I should really get one for every horse at the barn.

We would love to win a hay pillow for one of our two ponies who don't currently have one. We have five horses, four are rescues and we recently purchased two standard hay pillows and a mini hay pillow to try to avoid waste. It's currently wet and cold in the northeast and the horses were wasting so much hay. The hay pillows have been a life saver, they are saving us money from wasted hay and making our hay last longer with the slow hay netting. Gracie or torrie would love to have a hay pillow of their own to match the others!

I would choose two of the slow feed pillows. One for my hay manger in my trailer. I get nervous if paint flakes or rust or sand or dirt accidentally gets ingested and I feel the bag will keep hay waste down. Hay costs are expensive! I also would try a hanging slow feed bag for at the trailer. My paint acts like he misses a meal and I am very conscious about his and his running mates belly health. I feel a slow feed bag will help tremendously with gas bubbles and upset tummies.

I would pick the yellow ultra lite pet ID. I would use it at a big barrel show where there are hundreds of people around and I’m not near my stall I can clip it to his mane or even a stall door so in case of an emergency I can be found. I also live in Indiana and spring/summer storms can be no joke around here so I feel it would be beneficial especially for tornado warnings.

Thank you!!! :)

The emergency clip-on tag would be so helpful, as it’s super easy to attach to a braid, or even the halter!

ID Tag Preferred: Ultralite
Hay Pillow: Hanging Hay Pillow Small Mesh Hay Alternative with 1 1/4" mesh

I would love to win this offer for my wonderful horse so I can transition her to a free choice lifestyle to better her overall health as well as assist me in being a prisoner to feeding time. She was raised in a situation where she had to compete and defend her food and is prone to ulcers. She now is starting to realize that she does not have to defend her food and devour it, but having a hay pillow to add to her current set up would really help make a complete transition for her since she would have access to hay for a much longer period of time. She currently has shoes in order to correct a foot growth issue so having a hay pillow that I could hang would be a dream come true. This hay pillow would not only benefit my horse from a physical and mental health standpoint, but it would also be a very nice addition to my feeding regiment so I would not need to worry if I get stuck at work late, or in traffic to where I would not have to worry about her being without hay at all- or for very long. I am also sure that my husband would appreciate this so that our dinner time doesn't get as late or come after horse feeding.

Since she is young I would love to have the Ultralite ID tag for a peace of mind as I start taking her new places. I feel it is inevitable that at some point in time a horse may get sick, or heaven forbid they get away from you or you fall off outside a fenced in area. Having my information attached would help make sure she gets any attention and to safety as fast as possible.

Thank you for making the products you do and of having the offer to give one away to a lucky and well deserving horse/owner.

Red should win because when we got him he was foundered and since have discovered he is insulin resistant. So he is on a dry lot and slow feed bags is what keeps him busy all day. He gets fat on air so making his hay last helps him think he gets as much hay as the other horses.

Candy is a very special 4 year old that helps me with my anxiety. She is so sweet natured and does everything you ask of her. Candy eats her hay really fast and I think having one of your pillows would help out a lot. Thank you for the opportunity.

I would love to win the Standard Hay Pillow (1 1/4”) and the ManeStay Equine Emergency ID Tag for my 3 horses. Hudson is a coming 4-year-old quarter horse, Dexter is a 3-year-old mustang, and Jasper is an 18 month old mustang. Due to excessive amounts of rain in recent months, most of the hay in their pasture is being wasted and pressed into mud. A hay pillow would ensure that my three geldings receive an adequate amount of hay throughout all seasons. An ID tag would also be beneficial as hurricane season always results in equine rescues in my our area. Thank you for the opportunity to entire such an amazing giveaway!

Mini Hay Pillow, 1 ¼ inch mesh
ManeStay

My two young mini donkeys are stabled at night for safety and pasture management. They would benefit from a way to keep their hay in front of them all night and some extra mental stimulation. Plus if they ever need to spend their days in a sacrifice area or dry lot, a hay pillow would allow us to offer hay throughout the day as well.
One of my donks is very playful. Having a ground-level, no-strings-attached feeder like the hay pillow, as opposed to a hanging net, might allow less opportunity for her to break her feeder or entangle herself in it. And if she does toss or paw it, the solid side should mean less hay dropping out and fewer holes to snag or tear.
And of course I'd love for both donks to be able to eat from ground level while still enjoying the benefits of slow feeding.

I would love to win the Hanging Hay Pillow-Small Mesh Hay net, with the 1 3/4” mesh, and the Ultralite Emergency ID tag.
I would love these for my horse because he has suffered a terrible injury after getting caught in barbed wire and is stall bound with very minimal turnout and regular hay bags are being used and this would be so much better for my horse and also faster and easier for me to get for him and I live him so much and am so thankful he can recover from this but it is going to take a lot of time and he is so worth it, he totally deserves the best and I believe your bags are the best!! ❤️

I would love to win the standard pillow with 1 3/4" net with the ultralite emergency ID tag for my handsome 21 yr old paso fino who has DSLD. This is such a terrible disease for horses to go through but exercise is great for them with the hay pillows I can set them out in many areas for him to stroll to, keep the hay off the ground to help prevent sand colic and waste. The emergency tag would come in handy during our little walks or even out in his pasture you never know when a wild animal may bust down your fence and your horse decides to wander off, using the the mane Id is easier and safer than a halter. Thank you for this opportunity.

I would love to win the standard pillow with 1 3/4” holes and the ultralite emergency ID tag for my Morgan gelding. Recently diagnosed with both PPID and IR so needs to eat slowly and not overeat. I’d rather see him eating off the ground in a more natural position than out of a net. If we can get his comfort level back, we go trail riding for hours - and once in a while we part ways... it would be a smart idea for him to have an ID on him!

I would love the Hanging Hay Pillow-Small Mesh Hay net, with the 1 3/4” mesh, and the Ultralite Emergency ID tag. I Have a gelding that gets himself loose and out of places he shouldn't . While camping he got loose and I never thought I would find him , thank God we did ,but after that I bought a dog tag to tie in his mane . The ID tag would be much easier. And my boy needs to slow down eating and this looks so easy ,would love it .

Hi there! I adopted a pony after she escaped from a botched rescue nearby. She has a bit of food anxiety -- eating too fast and worrying she won't get fed again, which may result from the time when her owner was ill and she may not have been fed or handled appropriately. We're working on all of that and other basics, and she's really making progress after just a couple weeks. I ordered one Mini Hay Pillow® Slow Feeder Hay Bag 1-1/4" to encourage slower feeding. I'd love another of the same size so that she has multiple spots to feed from them. Additionally, she needs a ManeStay Equine Emergency ID Tag in case she wanders too far. Thank you!

I would love to try a standard hay pillow slow feeder hay bag with 1 3/4” netting and the ultralite emergency ID tag. I have been debating trying a hay pillow, but hadn’t yet because my girls were shod. I just pulled their shoes, so I can try it out!

We have a 22 year old QH Mare, Missy, we got her 4 years ago, she cribbs, did it her whole life, so her upper teeth are short by now. She can manage a regular hanging haynet, but i think she will love your STANDARD PILLOW SLOW FEEDER HAY BAG 1-3/4'' MESH SIZE.
I like the "Ultra Lite Emergence Info ID Clip-on Tag ( but hope we will never have to use it, SW Ontario we get Tornados). Missy deserves your haynet, because we bought a young mare, 6 years, this year and Missy now has to "babysit' and share HER pasture with this youngster, she is not impressed ;)
I follow your Fb and blog and get the newsletter and have learned a lot from the info that you provide, thanks for sharing all these interesting infos.

I would love the manger hay pillow 4x6 for my 2 horse trailer that I've barely used. We used hay bags last year and it was such a mess. I feel like the horses would be happier eating it this way than over their heads. I'd also love to win the manestay tag for my sweet girl Bailey. I don't know what I'd do if I ever lost her. ❤ Thank you for this opportunity to try and win! I think this is my 4th time trying. Lol

Dharma would love to eat from a Standard Hay Pillow® Slow Feeder Hay Bag 1 1/4” and have an ultra lite tag. I have been trying to find the right hay bag for her. I live this one because it leaves with the natural eating form.

I would like a standard hat pillow with 1 3/4” holes
I would like a ManeStay ID tag
My rescue horse, Jack, has some food anxiety and resource guarding habits from his time in a horse horsing situation. He would benefit from his hay being safely on the ground in a slow feeder Hay Pillow. I am a single income teacher doing her best for her rescue & foster horses, and would love to win to help them :)

I would love the standard slow feeder hay pillow 11/4” please and a manestay ID tag. My boy has ems and it would be great to be able to put him out with one of this and stay out a little longer. I can’t leave him with nothing as he has just got over ulcers too. He is still in full work so some downtime outside would just be perfect for him

The standard Hay Pillow with the 1 3/4 mesh would work well for my mule. She is a fast eater and needs to slow down a little. A ultra lite ID would be great for her too, we do have dry conditions and alot of wild fires.

1) Hanging hay pillow
2) 1 1/4” mesh size
2) Ultralite Emergency Info ID Clip-on Tag
3) I’ve had my eye on these slow feed hay bags and I have been wanting to try them for a long time. I strongly believe the hay pillow will allow me to mix a variety of hay, slowing consumption while my horses take longer to eat and I would have less wasted hay to clean up. The hay pillow will prevent my horses from eating off the ground and ingesting sand which comes along with its’ own issues such as colic and having to use Sand Clear. The hay bag would certainly allow me to feed free-choice so my horses wouldn’t have to scavenge for food on the ground while waiting for their next feeding and I wouldn't have to feel guilty when I get stuck at the office late. My cribber will be kept busy and have less ulcers. It's a win, win all around!! Thank you for offering this contest! ❤️

I would love these for my horses. I have 8 and they all get grass hay. It's hard to feed them consistent amounts of hay in the pasture. This would make it so easy.
In the corrals they wouldn't be walking their feed into the mud. I just love this idea.
Love the 1" standard ground Pillow!!
