We bought the Standard Hay Pillow a few months ago but I wanted to test it out before I commented on it. Turns out Tanawa our cushings/laminitic horse prefers it to the hay net! The standard hay pillow with 1 3/4” would be amazing Our Cody is turning 30 and is an aggressive and fast eater. I would love to slow down his eating and keep him safe and healthy.
My overweight pony would benefit greatly from the Standard Hay Pillow® Slow Feeder Hay Bag 1-1/4” mesh size and I love that these can be used on the floor and helps the natural grazing position.
My horse Sundance would love a standard hay pillow 1 3/4" mesh size. He is a mustang and we have tried other hay bags and hay ends up all over the ground and he ingests sand/dirt. He ended up with sand colic and I’ve been searching for something that would work on the ground where he can feed more normally without ingesting sand/dirt. This fits the bill and so excited. I have herd of 3 and ordered 1 and looking to have a few out and about for them.
Manger hay pillow, 1 3/4". I think this would be great for my son’s horse during hauling. He gets bored and I think it could be a beneficial addition for him.
I would love to try the Standard Hay Pillow with the 1 3/4" mesh. I have a beloved mare that is IR, and slow feeding is a must. We have used hanging hay nets, but she manages to get most of the hay on the ground, and we loose so much to the wind (even though she is fed is a run-in. I love the idea of allowing her to eat more naturally from the ground.
